The Longest Summer
In March 1997, before the handover of sovereignty, the Hong Kong Military Service Corps disbanded. Ga Yin was a Sergeant in the Corps. The British Army has abandoned him and Hong Kong society rejected him. Even his parents shun him for not knowing how to make fast money. His only emotional link is to his estranged younger brother, Ga Suen, who is a Triad member. Like many others in his generation, Ga Suen has sold his soul to make easy money. Desperate and discontent, they plan for a bank robbery. From that moment on, their lives changed forever.
