The story chronicles a young man's search for his brother in the city and how he comes to term with the brothers eventual accidental death and as hard as he attempts to hold on to his family, whose only member left is the mother, he fails, and runs away to a fishing village to be with his uncle, an act that reminisces his dead brother's break from the family before. A factory worker discovers a precious stone accidentally in the factory. When the factory keeper exhibits it in a hall, it entices the gangsters, the mob to come who is cracking their brains in trying to get their hands on the stone. Bao, the loyal factory worker who volunteered to take over the security job in the hall, also plays lots of tricks against the petty thieves for protecting the stone. Every one of their actions is tied in a net of causes and effects, which will ultimately lead them to a surprise end.
